Thank You, Friends! 

So wonderful to be with those of you who were there at the house concert/fundraiser last Sunday (9-24-17) in support of my new album in the works, Partially True Stories. My huge thanks to Dan for his incredible piano playing, to Barbara for the gorgeous space and delicious treats, and to Barbara, Kirsten, and Curt for co-hosting such a sweet event. I am grateful to you all. And to Joshua for the surprise of the Dr. Hops Kombucha! So fun. 

To those of you who were not able to be there, we missed you! Whether you are just joining in, or have been with me for the long haul, I want to thank you all for your love and support with a free digital download via Dropbox of my first album:  Dara Ackerman~ Skyland.

1. A Benefit Concert for Breast Cancer Research

Feeling very honored and excited to be part of this year's annual Notes4Hope CD Release Concert, which is a benefit for breast cancer research and prevention. The show will feature singer-songwriters from all over the Bay Area, with Mat Kearney headlining and LUCE! It's going to be an incredible evening. 

I'll be singing one song~ my newest, called "After The Battle". I wrote this one just for this very special event. Here's a sneak peek, before the CD's release. Click HERE to listen!

For those of you who don't know, I also sing backup (and play percussion and dance like a wild woman) in an extremely fun Oakland Indie Rock band known as FELSEN. 

Come to the IVY ROOM in Albany on Friday Oct 27th, and join Felsen and friends for an insanely fun evening of original music, Michael Jackson THRILLER cover songs, and a giant flash-mob re-enactment of the dance number from the early 80's THRILLER music video.
